About Us

Action 4 Health Uganda (A4HU), formerly Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevölkerung (DSW) is a non-governmental organization with a steadfast commitment to uplifting Uganda's youth. A4HU has a rich history of empowering youth and promoting sexual and reproductive health (SRH) in Uganda. A4HU took over the mandate of DSW in 2018.

Our new Strategic Plan [2023-2027] embodies our unwavering commitment to enhancing the health and well-being of young individuals, especially those facing vulnerabilities and challenges at various stages of life. Over the next five years, we're dedicated to implementing targeted interventions aimed at elevating the health and socio-economic status of our youth.

At A4HU, our mission goes beyond improving health outcomes; we're driven to empower young people across all spectrums, nurturing their potential and contributing to their holistic development. Our strategic initiatives not only focus on enhancing health but also foster the growth of youth-led organisations while fortifying the foundation of A4HU itself.

Together, we're building a brighter future for the next generation by amplifying their voices, bolstering their opportunities, and creating an environment where young people can thrive.
